why didnt you paint it first? isnt it better if you paint a body kit before slapping it on?

Im not sure on this quite yet...I personally dont like civics let alone any other car with a body kit...Lip kit is my taste...but I'd like to see the finished product!

I'm sorry man But I am gonna have to agree, I am more a fan of the more subtle almost OEM+ wide body kits or just pulled fenders.

Either way, good luck with the project.

it's obvious that you have to test-fit the part before you paint it.. do you buy a pair of shoes before trying them on first? do you get a tattoo before sketching it out first? do you buy a 06+ civic coupe before test driving it first? same thing.. you need to test-fit a kit before you get it painted. What happens when you paint the part first, then realize, o S***.. it doesn't fit? you'd have to cut it, sand it down, prep, whatever it takes to make it fit, then repaint that part again?? it doesn't make sense to me, unless you're a baller with infinite amount of $$$.

I buy countless shoes without trying them on. I didn't test drive the civic. :]
